Quarterhorse Museum

On the Amarillo list of things to see is the American Quarterhorse Museum. 

The museum tells the history of the registry of quality horses. The horses are bred for speed and strength. 

Dallas/Ft. Worth

First stop on the long weekend was a visit to Dealy Plaza. This is where JFK was assassinated in November of 1963. 

Then we walked to the Reunion Tower. Bryan and Victor went up to look at views from 560 feet or 170 meters. 

We traveled across to Ft. Worth and on the way stopped at the Cowboy's stadium. The huge TV screens are 49 X 23 Meters and cost 40 million dollars. 

Ft. Worth is know for its history with cattle and the stockyards. We walked through the shops and found a good candy store for Victor's sweet tooth. We went to Joe T. Garcia's Mexican Restaurant for dinner. Victor found a seat at the bar. 

The next day we went to Ikea, a mall and to Top Golf. This is kind of like bowling, you play by hitting at targets where you get points and the person with the most points wins! By the time we left, Victor was hitting the targets!!
